Anika Yuzak - Artist, Filmmaker

Anika Yuzak is an artist and filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. Over her twenty-year career, she has developed a multifaceted skill set, initially working as a costume set and prep assistant. Her expertise in this field is recognized through her membership in the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). She has contributed significantly to feature films and episodic television projects, including her work on the well-known film "To All the Boys: Always and Forever" (2021).
Anika's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Media Arts from Emily Carr University and a Fashion Arts Diploma from Vancouver Community College, underscoring her solid foundation in media and fashion.

Before transitioning into film, she actively participated in the visual arts scene and worked in fashion production, showcasing her versatility and depth as a creative professional. Her short film "DEVOTED" has been acclaimed locally and internationally and featured at prestigious events such as the Vancouver Short Film Festival and the Oregon Film Festival.
Her recent accomplishments include receiving art awards from the British Columbia and Canadian Art Councils for her upcoming short film "SOME GIRL." Furthermore, she is expanding her repertoire with a feature film in development titled "TRUST ISSUES," which promises to explore and deepen the themes of her short-form work.

​In addition to her creative practice, she works with creatives and professionals as a certified coach.
